The meeting of the Governor Nikolai Merkushkina with Sergei Shatilo and Gleb Mikhailik
May 30, 2017 a working meeting was held between the Samara region governor Nikolai Merkushkin, the director of the company “Sovremennye medicinskie technologii” Sergei Shatilo, the initiator and investor of International Medical Center “Heart Clinic”, and Gleb Mikhailik - the general director of the clinic “AVA-PETER” (St. Petersburg) and the Russian-Finnish clinic “Scandinavia”.
During the meeting the parties discussed the construction progress of “Heart Clinic” and the possible co-investment in the project by the “AVA-PETER” Group of Companies.
St. Petersburg colleagues highly appreciated the level of the Clinic: medical and engineering equipment, European standards and technologies, project awareness in the professional community of Russia.
Gleb Mikhaylik stressed that "he had never seen such complex and thoughtful projects in the field of cardiac surgery at the level of a private investor."
The project of International Medical Center "Heart Clinic" can be completed with the participation of a large co-investor. Currently, the team of “Sovremennye medicinskie technologii” and International Medical Center “Heart Clinic”, the government of the Samara region and representatives of “AVA-PETER” are actively working on the project and are considering the possible participation and co-investment of “AVA-PETER” and “Scandinavia”.
The project of International Medical Center “Heart Clinic” is being implemented in Samara within the framework of the public-private partnership in accordance with the Investment Memorandum signed in January of 2014 between the Samara Region Government and LLC “Sovremennye medicinskie technologii”. The main goal of the new Cardiac Surgery Center in Samara is the creation of a modern European level clinic, unique for Russia in terms of format, scale, level of equipment and service.
