The guests have visited an excursion over the future clinic, inspecting the readiness for the equipment supply. At the moment, construction activities of the building are finished almost on 80%. Installation of engineering systems: heating, ventilation, smoke removal, cooling, air conditioning and fire suppression follow in work order. The works on the installation of partitions continue on all floors of the building (completed 50 %). The preparation of the facilities for the delivery of heavy equipment have already started, the first batch of which should come on March 21st.
Minister of health Gennady Gridasov accentuates that during the meeting participants discussed current aspects related to organization of staff schedule, also the issues of interaction between the current cardio center and the "Heart Clinic".
The construction project of international medical center "Heart Clinic" is being implemented in Samara on the public-private partnership. Project investor, company "Sovremennye medicinskie technologii", puts in the construction and equipping of medical institution up to 3 billion rubles. Residents of the Samara region will get high-tech medical care in the clinic under the program of government guarantees. The opening of the center, scheduled for the summer of 2016, will allow conduction of approximately 11.5 thousand cardiac operations per year, providing care to patients with cardiovascular diseases in Samara region. The project is implemented with the support of the government of Samara region.
CEO of the clinic Anna Makovskaya noted two main accents: the quality of care and patient-oriented approach: "Heart clinic is part of a large structure that will provide high-quality cardiac care. It’s impossible to provide medical services of high quality without good servicing. It is known that the emotional attitude of the patient and his relatives affects the healing process. It is very important that the patient could receive effective help, and leave the hospital with a kind heart".
Director of the company “Sovremennye medicinskie technologii" Sergey Shatilo said: "Construction works are at full speed, we’re fitting the schedule, and nothing will prevent us to finish the work on time. Current cardio center will soon celebrate 40 years of work. Heart Clinic will be fundamentally different from many similar medical institutions , it is fully customized on cardiac surgery starting with modern building and ending with modern high-efficiency methods and technologies".
Minister of health Gennady Gridasov: "Project that launched our Governor Nikolai Ivanovich Merkushkin, will be implemented this year. Its launch will increase the availability of cardiac care to residents not only in Samara region. This project is unique for Russian Federation, it’s invested by a private company, and will start its actual work only when it will be launched into the program of state guarantees. So it will provide medical care under the compulsory health insurance program as well as under voluntary medical insurance, and medical tourism. It is very difficult, but very important project for the citizens. The amount of medical assistance will be equal to the Federal centers of Moscow and St/Petersburg".
