Central sterile services department in the future is planned to be placed on the third floor, which is unusual for medical institutions. However, this approach significantly reduces the logistics of transportation of materials and tools from the sterilization site to the place of usage, as the operating theatres in "Heart Clinic" will be located on the second and third floors.
Central sterilization department must comply with all existing international standards in terms of hygiene and cleanliness. That is why this equipment should be handled with special care. In this regard "Sovremennye medicinskie technologii" has chosen as a partner the European manufacturer of sterilization systems.
Today, "Heart Clinic" has received two devices: the thermolabile instrument sterilizer Formomat (110 liters in the 2-door version) and cleaning - disinfecting machine Uniclean, as well as a small amount of furniture made of stainless steel for the сentral sterile services department. This is only a quarter of the ordered equipment. The equipage of medical center will take place on a phased basis, depending on the readiness of the facilities.
International Medical Center "Heart Clinic" is scheduled to open its doors to patients before the end of 2016. Erected in the frames of public-private partnership, the future center will be the main medical institution for treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
