Due to release R5 scanner can support a new generation of tools for clinical diagnosis using a personalized visualization, focusing on each individual patient. Release R5 contains several additional clinical tools for visualization of the head, neck, spine, skeletomuscular system and the whole body, including a new bobbin for the surveys.
In addition, the graphical user interface of release R5 has a number of important improvements providing greater control and efficiency of the MRI procedure.
After upgrading, MRI scanner allows to get in-patient pictures with higher quality as well. It has become possible by replacing the system of image reconstruction. Also, the replacement of the host MRI scanner computer was maintained.
This upgrading is among the first equipment modernization procedures maintained in the Russian Federation.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging scanner Philips Upgrade
In June 2015, hardware and software upgrade of Magnetic Resonance Imaging scanner Achieva 1,5T (Philips) was carried out in State Organization “Novosibirsk Research Institute of Blood Circulation Pathology of Academician E N Meshalkina”. The procedure was held by Philips service specialists with the help of service engineers of “Sovremennye medicinskie technologii”.
