Sergey Shatilo and Anna Makovskay took part in TV show

Director of ""Sovremennye medicinskie technologii” Sergey Shatilo and CEO of International Medical Center "Heart Clinic" Anna Makovskay became a TV program participants at the channel GTRK Russia. The theme of the discussion became the prevention of cardiovascular diseases in terms of the heat wave that lasts in the Samara region during the last few weeks.

Anna Makovskaya told how important it is to care about the heart condition, and how one has to behave in order to maintain a healthy heart as long as possible. What happens to our cardiovascular system in hot weather? Genetically, we adapted to the mild summer temperatures up to + 25 ° C, so the record mark, to which today climb our mercury thermometers are not in vain for the cardiovascular system.
During a heatwave the heart rate increases, as well as the pressure, peripheral blood vessels expand, feet swell, increasing the probability of blood clots. Sharp temperature jumps are especially harmful for health.

At the first signs of disturbance of the general sense of well-being a person needs to stop physical activity, move into shadow, release the chest from the compressive garment. If there is chest pain, one should immediately call the emergency, but before it arrives it is necessary to take medicines that stimulate the heart.

Cardiovascular diseases can be imperceptible, without any reflexes. That's why it is so important to inspect heart and vessels not less than once a year, especially for women over 45 and men over 35 years old. Modern medicine offers several types of diagnostics that can quickly and accurately answer the question about the cardiovascular system condition. Sergey Shatilo noted that the easiest and most painless way to diagnose is ECG, it is available at any medical institution, whether clinic or health center. Also, the director of "Sovremennye medicinskie technologii” explained that "Heart Clinic" will be able to carry out different diagnosis, including the "gold standard" of world medicine - CT and MRI research that will be carried out on the equipment with special cardiovascular software.
